Thank you to each and every one of you. There are way too many to tag but you guys know who you are. The support yesterday in our little gym community was so powerful and uplifting. We are truly grateful for each and every person who took part, supplied refreshments, came to support on the day, and to everyone who donated to these 2 amazing charities.

Big shout out to Paula, Caitlin and Koko who took part in 17, 13 and a bit 😀 and 12 of the workouts (respectively). I'd say there are many sore muscles and joints today. Also big thanks to Reda who gave up her time to take photos and videos, we cannot wait to share them 📷. Big thanks to Sue also who did so much organising through the Pulmonary Hypertension Unit in the lead up to the day. Finally Stephanie, Ian and Poppy who touched base several times throughout the day, finishing off by joining us in our final workout through video call all the way from Australia.

We have exceeded any expectations in the amount raised and will have a final amount by next week when we close the online donations.

I started this running challenge for a couple of reasons. 1) for my mental health again. 2) because I have neglected running since picking up injuries.
I am a 1/3 of the way through it only 50days left hell yeah. Then it’s straight into my 24 hour charity challenge.

I am a 1/3 of the way through it only 50days left hell yeah. Then it’s straight into my 24 hour charity challenge.

It is coming up to that time of the year again when we prepare for our 24-hour fundraiser here at MCF Tyrrelstown. This year, the challenge will be 24 shred classes back to back on the hour every hour. All classes will be based in the gym.

With just over 7 weeks to go to our 3rd Annual 24-hour challenge, we would like to announce our charity partners for this year's challenge.

We have chosen 2 charities this year for a couple of reasons:

1) PHA (Pulmonary Hypertension Association) for someone local to Tyrrelstown who sadly passed away recently and a very close friend to members of the gym.

2) Head in the Game, who have been chosen again this year as Mental Health Awareness, especially through sport, is very close to my heart.

The support for our first 2 years was amazing from the wonderful and generous community in Tyrrelstown and further afield. We are hoping to get even more support this year through you joining in a class or 2 (or 24) on the day and through donations big or small to support these 2 wonderful charities.

3 years ago today, we opened our doors here at MCF Tyrrelstown. Today, we would like to thank all of our amazing clients who have walked through the door, both past and present. The gym can be a scary place for people to begin or continue their fitness journey but with the amazing gym community we have here I'd like to think that we have created a warm and welcoming environment for everyone to come and workout daily.
